Quite severely. Assisted living and everything. He's been getting better the past few years, in terms of being able to speak and function, they tried the various treatments (dairy is just one example) not as a means of a "cure" but to try and see if it affected his behaviour.

Colin, you have my sincere hopes and prayers for your brother's good progress. Also my respect for your fortitude.

I often find that to be the case with "special" folks, that their inner virtues are in no way "handicapped". Quite the contrary in most cases.
