YES & NO lol!

YES, it came with a black pickguard stock as well as a TRC. For some reason, the pickguard was swapped out by a previous owner.
I HAVE the original still in the case. It looks perfect so why it was swapped out, I have no idea.

BUT, yes it DID come with a BLACK TRC & Pickguard! :D
The second owner didn't care for the way the original pickguard fit. I believe the replacement is from pickguardian. I couldn't tell the difference between the two pickguards either.

... and that bass is what my '72 restoration is going to look like!

Thanks Steve. Haven't really seen any other 3001's with flame like that either....

That 3001 must have been next in line to the 4002 wood!

That flame makes it a far better looking bass than normal...
