I guess I'm not surprised. Red is a stimulating color that causes people to take notice; it increases appetite and libido according to some studies. Black and natural maple are opposite ends of the same thing, neutral colors that are versatile--and while black is the ultimate in high-class, maple is "earthy", generally inviting girls in long, loose skirts to dance in mud. Blue is a calming color that lets people to relax, and I think also has some connotations in psychedelic drug culture. (Allow me to call my cousin.)

If that's what MapleGlo does , I'm re-casting my vote!!!

Yeah, but would that stick be Fireglo, Mapleglo or Jetglo???
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

My favorite contemporary standard finish is a nice merlot and a tightly packed b*ng...
I didn't get where I am today by being on time...

To the uninitiated here DPT, that * could well be an "a"...

However, in this case, and to clear potential confusion amongst said masses, I'm going to lower your grade to the fourth vowel...

Oh, the new FG's are classic btw....MG only looks good when aged, and JG looks, well, like it always does, and did! (Remember, no love for the JG... )

1) jetglo - i love that it hasn't change much and it always looks great on my pretty slender body
2) any MAPLEGLO!! THEY SHOULD MATCH THAT aged color AND COME WITH - AMG aged mapleglo as COY
3) 89-94 fireglo with deep burgundy edges ( i hope it still can be called "contemporary")
dusan palka who is also known as grazioso on infamous auction web site

As for jetglo, I'll never buy another black guitar. The only exception would be a Les Paul Custom, for RIC it's gotta be FG or MG

I'm a great fan of Fireglo, particularly Amber Fireglo, but as yet I have not seen a recent Fireglo in the flesh.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.

The problem is that I don't like any of the modern 24 fret models, so chances are good that I'll never get one of these rumored newfangled fireglos

Well, my natural finish Jazz Bass did it once... so surely to goodness an MG RIC could do the job.

Well, I don't know about dancing in mud, but my MG 4001 used to attract the girls pretty well back in the 70's

That's at least part of the reason I voted Mapleglo... 8)

No, wints, not a b'a'ng...and my b'u'ng's fine, Jeff, thanks for inquiring...

Indeed, and especially for the 'uninitiated', I was referring to the b'i'ng crosby Xmas CD I have 'tightly packed' into my player...

"I'm dree-ee-ea-ming of a whi-i-i-i-i-ite Christmas..."
I didn't get where I am today by being on time...
