"Rickenbrother" Joey Vasco was/is the bassist in the "Rickenbrothers", which was the first band onstage at the Yost that night. That Marquee shot was from the August So Cal Rick Fest (SCARF).
The lead singers always get to kiss the chicks because they're the ones telling the story, which in this case is the story of how the singer first met his wife, who's the one he's kissing in the video.
Two of the three guitars were Ricks on the recording; "Big Red", my 365 WB, which does the main riff, and my 381/12, which I played a backing melody on over the last chorus/outtro of the song. My fellow guitaris Jayme's playing his trusty early 70s SG on the track as well.
Yep, that's the Doll Hut.

Nice, Paul! Everything seems better, tighter, and the music is more clear, and I like the new footage. Once again, good job!

Paulie, is it recommended for us patrons to sit on the left-hand side at the venue for hearing your LH licks ??
Did you score that clever reversed-lettering TRC from E-Bay, or was it a factory-second ??

Paul your new video and soundtrack are improvement over an already impressive recording. That song sticks in my head for days each time I hear it. I love it.

Thanks Brian!

For those of you who are local to So Cal and would like to suffer a similar fate, We’re playing the Blue Café in Huntington Beach this Saturday the 30th.
If you would like to get in for FREE, email or PM back with your name and the names of anyone you’re coming with, the sooner the better so we can have one master list before Saturday when we arrive at the club.
Disclaimer: I do not play left handed guitar (not that there’s anything wrong with that), and I didn’t select the photo for the flyer.

Alt flyer, which I also did not select-all thanks due to our bassist Dave.
We headline, so we’re playing at midnight.
Address:
The Blue Café Huntington Beach
17208 Pacific Coast Highway
Huntington Beach, CA 92649
The club is on the north east corner of Warner Ave and Pacific Coast Highway, where Sunset Beach ends and Bolsa Chica starts, just across the street from Jack in the Box.

Which means mean you'll probably go on closer to 1 AM.
If I think I can stay awake until then, I'll be there! Have some coffee ready for me!

sheesh, rock n' roll isn't what it used to be, eh?
Once again, any of you locals who want to come to the show, we have a F R E E to get in unlimited guest list, so if you want to go, message me. Graham will be there, so it's one more chance to visit before he heads back home.
