About 5 years ago or more, there is a back story to it and when I get a bit more info I can give the full story! It's going to interesting either way.apollo11 wrote:Wow, congratulations, and great story. How many years ago was it stolen?

Excellent story.
I have a friend who has a Les Paul stolen on this little island (Guam) about 15 years ago and he has friends and family constantly on the lookout. If its here, we'll find it.
Glad you got yours.
Best,
T

I had some gear stolen a while back (the whole band truck was taken) and some of the stuff turned up on Ebay, the police were helpful in retrieving it from a pawn shop, another year later some of it showed up on Craigslist. Once the guy realized it was stolen, he gave it back to me. Sometimes the universe works out ok. Glad to hear it did in your case too!

I have a friend who had an Epiphone Moderne reissue stolen from him a few years ago in Memphis and he just got word that the police found it and he's expecting it back next week. The good news: I think he's going to sell it to me!

It surprised me that the guitar is jetglo. For some reason I thought it would be fireglo. Still a beauty though.pinball63 wrote:Here she is in great company tonight or early morning! State Police called and said when do you want to pick it up, how about right now! It looks great and now I'm waiting to hear where this person got it from! I want to thank RickResource for providing an awesome site for every facet of Rick life and more, this is a great community! Thanks again to all the well wishers!!!

I went to England for a couple of weeks last month, so I've been lax since I've been back and the Trooper on the case, works the graveyard shift that is handling it. When I do remember to call, the trooper is not working at the time! I've got to remember to call late tonight and get the info! I have my suspicion on who it was, but I've got to make sure, because Ebay seller, said he bought from a pawn shop near by and they are supposed to give to the local police the info in my state! The guitar was found 30 miles away in the next state, I still can't believe I got it back, truly amazing!!!

Congrats again, Paul!
They are, and there are far fewer JGs than FGs in the series. Here's mine:simer4001 wrote:... It surprised me that the guitar is jetglo. For some reason I thought it would be fireglo. Still a beauty though.
