Kevin, is that one of the first 381 reissues? That birdseye is beautiful!

Must be since the serial number indicates November 1987 production. The reference material material I have states that the 12 string reissue models didn't come along until 1988.

More birdseye:

Beautiful guitar, Kevin. I do wonder, however, why the two-piece front and back didn't have one half "flipped" for the usual chevron grain effect, especially on such nicely-figured grain! Very odd...

Would that be nice warm morning light or cool mid day light?

It is different. All the others I've seen have the grains running opposite to each other. Nonetheless, sensational finish.

That would be at high noon on the one day every two weeks when the sun comes out for a few minutes . . .

Arbiter.......Yeah, I saw that one and tripped out on the AFG finish. Funny thing, though. Wasn't it The Music Zoo that sold Wittyair a 330/6 MG, the one that didn't look quite as figured and ambered in person as it had been portrayed in the website pics? I think it was Craig and I think it was a 330/6 in Mapleglo. I could be mistaken. Just my dos centavos' worth.......Goofyfoot.
