You could do a VTT setup with a pair of these and it would still fit in the cavity.

These are passive step switches with the capacitors on a tiny circuit board. Instead of a tone circuit with a fixed capacitor and variable resistor (the tone pot) like all passive basses, this is a multi switch with varying values of capacitors and probably one fixed resistor, or else cap/resistor pairs in each step of the switch.
