Six more!

GT = 296

Edit: I just thought of something: do amps count? I have two of those as well (not included so far in GT).

I wonder if John Hall will add to the count...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

I wonder just how many Rickenbackers have been made over the years. Does RIC keep those stats somewhere in their database? Ciao for now.......G-foot.

All we need is one more or six more and we'll have an ironic/iconic number.

Yup, although we need just one more to hit a glorious number familiar to us all, too. Thanks for the heads up, Jake. Late.......G-foot.

My "guesstimate" would be about 230,000 in total since 1956. Between 1968 to 1990 it was around 4000 to 5000 per year.
Since they have scrambled the SN numbering there is no way to know... But with the modern CNC machinery etc I wouldn't be surprised if they were up over 12000-15000 indtruments produced per year now.

There are now almost 8000 instruments in teh RIC registery here.. That's a significant sample!
