Wow, I hadn't seen that one. Five hundred list is a nice price too. I'm very impressed with Martin. They do seem to make something nice and affordable for everybody now. As long as they still continue to pamper us old-school fans as well I will be happy. I already have my dream Martin, as I mentioned.

What's a Martin? I've never heard of them. Do they only make Acoustics or something?

Paul, they make guitars that you don't have to plug in to an AC30 or an amp of any kind. Imagine that!

Yup, big and boxy and naked as a jaybird. It's kind of like having the speaker in your lap. Some old farts used to play them way back when. :o

Martin does surprise me with some of the things they release - a clear rival to Fender in that regard. However, everytime I say what the hell are they doing I reach for my HD28 and then I say ah, thats the Martin I know and love. My HD is to die for 8)

Well...I think Martin should have tried to work with:

I bet (if the price were to be kept reasonable) they could sell more than enough 'units' to show a profit for artist and manufacturer...and have a bit left over for some creative philanthrophy...

How do we get these people on the phone to each other?
