Supper's Ready is a nice 12 string song.

How about a John Denver revival?
Just about all of his material was played with an acoustic 12-string.
In the meantime, I enjoy fiddling with The Beatles' "I call Your Name", R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts" which sounds delicious on a 12-string, as well as Roger Hodgson/Supertramps "Give A Little Bit".

Want to really be the envy of your neighborhood? Take your Ric twelve-string and play the intro to the Hollies' 'Long, Cool Woman.'

Showing my age, but one tune I like that sounds cool on my 360 /12 is "Kicks" by Paul Revere & the Raiders

'Kicks? 'An excellent blast from the past! Remember Paul Revere and the Raiders from 'Where the Action Is?' God Bless Dick Clark Productions.

I saw them in the early mid-80s with the Temptations and the Four Tops at Disneyland. Great fun, and the bands were all great that day, even though security wasn't. It was like a So Cal version of Footloose-"Hey you kids, you can't dance here!"

I agree that Long Cool Woman sounds great on a Rick. I've played it at gigs a few times, but that intro is a killer on a 12 string.
And to whojamfan, I've never done Secret Agent Man on a 12er, but at one gig we had the singer sing it in Spanish (Hombre Secreto). The look on the keyboard player's face was priceless.

Hey Bill ! Best idea ever ! I don't have to google, just pulled out four LPs from '74 till '77 and started to listen over
Thanks for reminding me that he was (or stil is ?) a great songwriter. He worked with some great musicians, among them keyboarder Peter Robinson and bass player Johnny Gustafson - they had their own project called Quatermass, one of my favourite bands these days

, great LP..

Thanks to all for a bunch of great responses. I have about a year's worth of new material. Time to woodshed.

Mr. J-man,
Originality is key. I'd bet you've got many of your own 12-string riffs aching to blossom! I for one, would like to hear them...

Over the Hills and Far Away - Led Zeppelin
The Rain Song - Led Zeppelin
Breathe - Pink Floyd
You Can't Do That - The Beatles
Wild Horses - Rolling Stones
Feel a Whole Lot Better - The Byrds
The acoustic section of 2112 - Rush
