For where I play, this would fit in perfectly!

Egad! That's hideous! If people are going to do things like this I wish they would learn to draw first....

I can't draw a stick figure.... so to me, this is pretty cool...
The guy had a STARTING bid of $2500.00 IF I remember correctly, it never sold for some reason!

The guy said an ARTIST in California did it with a link to his site....It was only posted once, and it never surfaced again!
John, you are a very luck man!

Stunning, Paul----well done as always.
It seems so "plain" or "simple," but there is simply nothing like a properly done, deep jetglo black finish. It's shockingly black.
In the wise words of Nigel Tufnel-----"It's like, how much more black can it get? And the answer is none. None more black."

...and, oddly, Collin, I've done very few Jetglo instruments for their owners; perhaps a half-dozen in all, out of over a hundred refinishes on my books. Anyway, Jwilli's seems to have been the blackest, probably because this time around it's black-on-black.

Yeah...that is strange. Maybe people want something a bit more exotic than a standard available Jetglo.
Yet, from my recent acquisition of a brand new Jetglo.....there is a HUGE difference between a proper, deep glass-like Jetglo like you're shown, and a new JG (at least the one I received..).
Maybe I'll have to up your Jetglo-tally with a project in the near future....hmmmm....

The only difference between "my" JG and the new factory JG is the level of gloss given by the Scratch Doctor/Zymol treatment, which I do, the factory doesn't have time to do, and which any owner can do.

BTW...the reason I picked JG for the '64 615 is easy. It was originally JG. That seems kind of rare for '64! I bet 80% of their instruments were FG that year. Maybe even higher.

Looooking good.
I figured if you were using the JG for a shaving mirror, and taking off the beard, you'd need a new avatar.
I've found that if you keep getting them out and moving them around she loses track of how many.

Just wanted to say.....although the 615 JG was a "Plain Jane" model....PW's expertise turned it into a Super Model. By far the best JG I have ever seen. Whoa...
