POSSIBLY THE PRETTIEST GRETSCH YET...
Re: POSSIBLY THE PRETTIEST GRETSCH YET...
since the early 1960's Gretsch guitars were an inspiration to me, more than Fender or even Gibson. Those Gretches had "something" I couldn't put my finger on it, but I knew it was there.

Maybe we should do a Gretsch calendar?

Yeah mine to. I'm fortunate to be the current caretaker of this unique treasure. Guitars are made to be played!sloop_john_b wrote:Curt. Yours is forever my favorite. And WHAT a player!

This could be a close second.

If you're gonna wash your guitar in the washing machine, you gotta throw it in the dryer ASAP. Otherwise, it gets all wrinkled like this one.CurtW wrote:This could be a close second.

Re: POSSIBLY THE PRETTIEST GRETSCH YET...
In 2008 while celebrating the 125th anniversary, Gretsch and Stephen Stern/The Custom Shop put out 25 model 6120-125. They were essentially your typical 6120 but they finished them with a gold leaf and orange finish......truly one of the most amazing guitars I've ever laid eyes on. So.....I gotta go with one of those as the prettiest Gretsch yet.
