There are some thick body (like 2 1/2") guitars in some pics... 365 Capri? Please excuse my ignorance in non-bass models and educate me.

Those babies are definitely the 1999s for Japan.

Incidentally,
Do those 1999 necks look fairly chunky or is it just the angle of the photo?

Well, if it's not the almost Blue Boy body, maybe it's this 381 body with a bass neck next to it...if the bass neck goes with the 381 body, then Joey (along with a few other folks) is going to keel over and faint about now... :lol:

I think the bass neck next to the the 381 body was done on purpose as a practical joke on us. :mrgreen:

Is it me, but did anyone else notice in the shot before the glue wheel, that it appears a lower bass bout being DRILLED for the pickup wire route? :?
