Steve
Hah ! I can't perceive of any reason you would need to bring non-Rick guitars -- you've got your 6-string and 12-string needs well covered ... and if not, we'll have another dozen or so Ricks on hand in the Mini Con arsenal, to cover all possible music contingencies !
Hope you can bring some singing talent with you too ---- we always need help to cover some vocals !!!
I've sent you an e-mail with some basic directions for Backline and a couple of cell phone numbers... just in case you get lost on the So Cal Freeways
Regards

Thanks for the contact info and the directions, Rich. I can't sing in key or on note.

What sort of refreshments, Paul? They are going to be sitting in a warm car for quite a while on the way down there. If you have an idea of what is needed, I can kick in some $$.
Refreshments?

I'll be bringing my ice chest, filled, of course.
After the last few minicons, I'm thinking about how I could obtain a Red Bull or Monstersomethingorother sponsorship!

Have fun, gents! The Breeders Cup is happening at Santa Anita, I've got to work that.
How 'bout some videos?

Bummer! I was hoping you could make it.
Here's another power pop number we ought to learn-pretty simple, and could sound really cool, even w/o the keyboard. I could do the middle break with my EBow, or it could just be played sustain-y with an OD pedal, or with a 12 string through a compressor-oh, and dig the nifty album cover art!
Verse: A, G, F#, G
Chorus: A, G, D, A
Bridge(and Outtro): E, A, D
Verse: A, G, F#, G
Chorus: A, G, D, A
Outtro: E, A, D, ends on "da da" on the "E".
