How about at least 10,000 posts?

And that would be you, and how many other members, Jeff?

I guess that disqualifies everyone, except John!
You win, John!

On a serious note: how about a RRF fund with small "prizes" (like mugs or t-shirts), say, thrice a year? Yeah, i know one may order/buy them, but it doesn't feel the same as an unexpected small present.

The USPS agrees with you, Sheena. My regular mail service has been rated "unexpected daily small presents", because I never know when I'm going to get something I've ordered, or where it will be hidden.

Just throwing out ideas here in relation to this...
If you limit the participants, you will have to charge more per participant. If you open up the participants (say to anyone willing to pay... regardless of their member status) then you will have a higher chance of bringing in more participants and thus, more money.
Honestly, yes, I Ithink we all would like a member to win
ideally but if the contest brings in 10,000 people spending $1 USD, then I only see the RRF winning in the long run. This would also set up perhaps an annual contest where this brings in even more money on a yearly basis, if marketed correctly.
Get it set up with Paypal and you could easily bring in 30,000 people or more depdending on marketing. At that rate, it might pay to put up 2 or more instruments to feed the frenzied masses.

Do that only and we still have a win-win situation, in that at any time we could just help contribute, voluntarily, without feeling obligated.

Not only that but there is a a way to set this up for residuals (weekly, monthly, yearly). I'm not quite sure how but I am almost certain it's possible.
Paypal would be a real good solution, IMO.

HI,
It agree with you my friends. Paypal would be the great solution for the payment of the funds. People always like to do of what they are aware about. They will feel secure for what they are doing.
