Update/review: got out the Hot Rod today (no small feat, in my living situation).

I must say, my 360 DOES get along quite well with that amp. There was a nice depth to the tone, on the clean channel. Then, with just a little dirt on the Drive channel, I could control the distortion with pick attack. It was actually starting to sound Paul Weller-ish -- woo-hoo!

That clean sound was really getting to me, though; already started writing a song around that. I think the bandmates might be in for a little surprise, equipment-wise, next rehearsal.

You need to check this out, Jim. It is owned by a very good friend of mine, and happens to be near where I live. I took Steve Wood, Jdog and John Allgaier there when they were here for MICRIO.
