Actually a current higain bridge pickup will sound almost the same as the reissue horseshoe pickup did. If you decide to go with the higain, PM me.
Really? then whats the whole fuss about having a Horseshoe pickup?
The old magnetic shoes sense differently and sound different, plus the coils are wound differently so the tones is cleaner/clearer.

I would be interested in buying the horseshoe parts if you still have them.

So, let me get this right - you bought yourself a new Jetglo 4001C64S, decided to remove the shoes and broke the pick-up so bad that you don't have the entire assembly including the surround anymore, and then you were going to rip the zero fret out? Now it's up on ebay.
Exactly why did you buy the C64S in the first place?
