Hmm, you have made me think Ellen. I have been considering (again) selling my 360/12 in BB as it is just sitting in its case. It was my first Rick, but I have a 381/12 that I prefer and as I mostly play 6 strings, I feel I should sell it. I feel it would rather be played, though I know Graham G will disagree!!
I have thought about advertising it as "to a good home only" like you would advertise a horse for sale, but I suppose people would think I was nuts...(don't-answer-that).
.......anyone in the UK interested in a 360/12 BB to a good home only.....it (only might) be for sale......

Good Luck with your decision Sarah. As I mentioned earlier. Blondie isn't my first 360. I had my first one (a jetglo 360 from 1995 till 1999). By sheer dumb luck, I found it again in late 2008, and went to great measures to get it back again, only to sell it like a fool for a Gretsch Brian Setzer Hot Rod (I coldn't afford the Gretsch any other way, and felt at the time, that I wasn't bonding with my 360 [forgetting at the time, that it took me a few months to really get comfortable with it when I bought it for the first time in 1995

]). Of course as I mentioned earlier, two months ago, it hit me like a ton of bricks after I saw on another forum, another RRF member's blue 330. To make sure it wasn't just the GAS talking, I tried out a couple of Rics locally (a mapleglo 330, and a Mapleglo 360). Both of them cost more than I could afford, but pretty much told me that yes, I needed to get another Ric. I was lucky to find a Ric I could afford (Blondie) from aon online store. She's been a joy to play! I'm NOT going to make the mistake of selling her like I sold Baby. BTW, here's the story of Baby. I submitted it to "The Ones That Got Away" blogsite back in late 2008. It also includes a photo of Baby I took in Nov. 2008.

Once again, Good Luck Sarah. I can see where you're coming from. I also don't like having guitars that are dust collectors. A 12-string would be fun to have, but for me, it would very much be a one-trick pony guitar, that wouldn't see much playing time. And as you mentioned, you already have a 381/12 (381s are awesome!

). Just make sure your 360/12 doesn't have a sound to it, that you'll mass having access to.
