Kevin, that's gorgeous. The 1st V63 I bought would have looked something like that; sadly USPS lost it en route. Shame!

While they're great basses and I RAS over them hard - 5K is too painful for my blood.

I agree, it is a nice bass but other than as cosmetic platic difference, nothing different imo than a V63 or C64 for that matter which although I own both felt they are overpriced too, electronically its the same axe, another reason I didnt go after the 75th anni. 4003 in 2006 but did buy an 06 midblu 4003, other than color or plastic cosmetic difference, there was no difference in sound or playability, and the anni didnt come with a vintage pick up or special case, but paid less than half the price of the anni for my midblu 4003 new, I dont get caught up in the hype and overpay for something that comes off as different but the harsh reality is that it is not, but thats just me..

Let's not get started on the 75th again, fella!
