You would guess by now, that Lloyd might just know what he has there...
Someone needs to get with him and the buyer and get that F hole and it's case back together!

GIGGITY! A 330S/12 MG !
It's even driving distance from me......and pickup only.....sorry Brits!

(j/k...)
This will be the most interesting ebay auction in recent history, if it finishes........which is highly unlikely given the emails this guy is probably receiving.
ps...yes, it's definitely a '64, probably mid-64 summer model. None of these had the square heel (which was mostly gone by early 64).

I've been in touch with the seller; he reports that the serial no. on the jackplate is DH17.
DH indicates August 1964. I think he's short a digit on the number part.
This will indeed be an interesting auction -- if it lasts the whole 10 days (9.5 days and counting . . . .)

It's over $2700 in the first 12 hours on a 10 day auction. I'm not so sure the seller will want to end it early.
I am watching this one too. Outside of an extra set of vintage tuners and some cracks in the plastic, how much work do you think this really needs? The seller indicates it needs "TLC and Restoring".
Too bad about the case..................I am going to be in his area next week as I have work in San Leandro, but I imagine this will be leaving my price range soon.

This is also a unique one because it's the first factory-stock mapleglo RM1993/330S/12 that i've ever seen.
That is.....if it's original. Some better detective work would have to be done.
The crevices of the tuner routes in this picture look kinda suspect, like it was fireglo then stripped.?
Anyways, glad people are stepping up to bid, it'd be a shame to see it disappear without knowing the value for sure (even though we'd only have the value of a decent project). Ironic timing, considering this thread appeared this week.

There are a few double digit instruments from this month in the registry Ron....
