+ 1 and congrats im a little late.rickenbrother wrote:Eden, thanks for letting us experience the sound of your 4008!
It is a 4008, The rods adjust under the guard but it is not a split guard. It has a bound neck (4003s/8 has no binding) and has stereo wiring. I think the serial checks out at 1981.. Hieronymous's old 4008 had the same specs.bassduke49 wrote:He didn't discuss some of the details, and I suspect that he may have had a 4003S/8. He did say "1980" which would indicate the 4008 (1975-'83ish), but then says it has the split pickguard with the truss adjusters at the body end, which would indicate the 4003S/8 (1986-2000ish).
Perhaps, but Its a pitty about my singing.....antipodean wrote:Eden is adept at making 8 and 12 string basses sing! I'm in awe........![]()

Thanks for that Jeff, it's one of those songs that allows me to cover Mike Oldfields stuff without having to have any real talent!rickaddict wrote:Thanks for the Don Alfonso vid, Eden. That was really fun!
