I have a 80's 360WB in the 6 string version. Seems like most WB's I see are 12's.
Anybody know of any info on production stat's of WB models?

RIC doesn't release its production numbers, so that one's a mystery!

That AZ Blue WB 12-er is the brother to my six string model.

This is fascinating information. Is somebody writing this stuff down for future use? Thanks for posting this topic

I've been a bad influence on Low End Lover. I'm the reason for the thread - when he came down to have me work on his instruments, I had him play my 1981 360-12WB FG ckbd so he could see how my push-pull mods work. Sorry, I'm not that good with a camera; I can't guarantee I can get pix up.

My twin bro had a natural one in the late 80s/early 90s that was a fantastic guitar. I never liked the natural finish, but that guitar sounded and played great. I remember being upset when he got rid of his 87 360/12 and didn't understand why he kept the 6, but he let me spend sone time with it and I understood in no time.

Thread resurrection! Here is my 1988 sporting two HB1's and a hi-gain at the bridge. It also sports a piezo under the bridge plate which is wired to the "blend" knob and out the rick-o-sound output. This very odd setup gives it an amazingly wide tonal range. Who knows, maybe I did this as a reaction to those who say Rics are a one-trick-pony. This guitar does every trick. I even hook it up to a Roland synth. The only thing it could use is a vibrato...but I use an alesis AirFx in my pedalboard for that !

Bought in '94 as a 360 WB for $550 when I was 16. I talked them down from $750 & paid partly with all the change I could find! In 97 I had it modded to 3 HB1's with coil faders instead of push pulls. The bridge pu died and I stuck the original hi-gain back in, voila! This guitar recently had a corian nut installed a re-fret and the finish removed from the fretboard because I really play the hell out of it all the way up to the 24th fret. The 360WB is in my completely biased opinion is simply the best guitar out there.

I love that model. I'd want one if I was a guitar player. Rich Ferguson is kind enough to let this bassist (horrible guitar playing me) play his at jams.
