The list could go on about the "best", so I'll alter mine to reflect singers that have a certain someting special about them, whether or not they are a particular favorite. No order.

-John Lydon (Johhny Rotten) who else has annoyed so many with such conviction, Truly a master of conveying contempt at every level without losing the dryest of humour.
-Bruce Dickenson(Iron Maiden) Every syllable sounds like an opposing army storming the Kings castle. or a drunken night at Medievel Times restuarant/theatre.
-Rob Halford(Judas Priest) that scream and vibrato can shatter the solar panels off of a satellite.
-Iggy Pop-can do that super low voice with such conviction and authority. Super mellow to napalm-he's still got it!
-Jello Biafra(Dead Kennedys)such a unique sound, like he's growling, laughing, and convulsing with every word.
-Joey Ramone-what else can be said? Probably the most unlikely singer and frontman in music. Not pretty, not great, but pretty great at what he did!
-Roy Wood-yes, the Wizzard has quite a set of pipes on him. Very unique voice.
-Johnny Cash-that man just has that great storytelling voice, an art lost in the music of today
-Lemmy (Motorhead) how he sings and stll has a throat is a miracle in itself!
-Handsome Dick Manitoba(The Dictators) Gotta love the 2 tub man!

Just thought I'd stir the pot a little
