I personally would prefer that. I am not a big fan of the walking billboard t-shirt.
A simple (small) logo over the left breast is all I need. Nothing on the back, please.

Brian -- I saw that Cafe Press listed Triple XLs for some of the RRF tee shirts. There is an upcharge.

I'm not happy with the editing that was done with my comments regarding FC Hall's photo as used on the shirts and mugs.
This is because the editing was done without my knowledge, and does not reflect the fact that the photo looks terrific in print. It was taken by a Japanese photographer for one of their books, and represents one of the last "formal" images ever circulated of him.
My comments originally took a member to task for a potentially offensive statement made. His statement was modified, and mine edited without my knowledge, to synch with his.
Yeah Paul, mine was also modified without my knowledge. My comment was meant as a affectionate joke, toungue in cheek... not something derisive. Guess I should have put a

or

. I didn't check this thread until both our comments had been edited, so I didn't see your comment either.
The fact is I had never seen the photo before and would really love to see it in a larger size. Very rare that I see a Combo photograph that I haven't seen/saved.

Gentlemen, I have read your comments about having your posts edited without your knowledge and let me make this observation.
Posts will be modified (more often than not without comment) by a member of the admin group (in this instance) or a moderator if the comments breaks a particular rule. In this case the comment in question was deemed derogatory and this was compounded by the fact that the target of the comment was a former owner of RIC. The rule broken? This one:
4. Posts shall not show apparent disrespect for others, including RIC and its employees
Repeating what was deemed to be a derogatory comment in subsequent posts requires more edits to keep the thread intact. I can tell you that it is not particularly easy to make edits of this nature after the fact and keep some semblance of continuity to the thread. The other option available to the admin/moderator group is to delete the entire thread. Obviously that did not happen in this case.
For the record............I would have edited (or perhaps even deleted) your comments in much the same manner. We do our best not to be intrusive in threads but there are times when we have to step in and preserve order. I hope this explanation is helpful.

The trademark thing confuses me a little bit here. Is a person allowed to make a shirt with a picture of his own guitar on it, or would that be considered a trademark violation since RIC owns the shape? I didn't get to see the pulled images so I'm not exactly sure what it was that was being discussed.

I pulled them of my own free will, I was using the likeness of a Rick Bass in conjunction with the RR name which I created from scratch. I made it for fun and thought it might be helpful, but there's clearly pages of rules and toes to be stepped on so it's easier to just avoid contributing anything.
I'm sure people are happy with the current designs anyway.

Just to be clear there are not pages of rules Erik.
Here they are:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=391087
However, by posting your creation (which the few of us that saw them quite liked) you unknowingly jumped ahead of the approval process that needs to be considered when we wish to use a shape that is covered by RIC's trade dress. Perhaps you should submit your designs to Peter so he can test the waters with RIC assuming of course we are all on the same page.

It was an exaggeration.

I'm not interested in jumping through hoops though, it was just intended to be a simple contribution which I made during my free time. No hard feelings on my end, and i'm sure people are fine with Pauls original designs that are up on Cafepress.
