To my knowledge, there was never a fretless v63, not sure why they'd do a c64 like that. As Paul points out, we can't be absolute. Personally, I like when they play in the factory. It only leads to better things down the road.
And some cool rare instruments too!

Got a pic? Sure would like to see that one. :D
If Mozart were with us today, he'd play a Fireglo 4001C64! ~~~*~~~ Beethoven, on the other hand, would play a Matte Jetglo 4001C64S!

I remember seeing two of these offered by Olivia's. One was gloss and another matte (C64S). They wanted something like $3,700.00 each.

Spectacular looking bass.

It's not so easy to tell on this bass, but there is no binding.

Right, it is more of a V63 assemblage, although I don't know that it has the squared neck heel of the other vintage models. Lovely. I'm in the process of getting high-resolution photos of all seven (!) of RIC's one-off eBay specials for use in the book.

Relisted and still not selling, why? I mean even with international shipping, $2K for a super rare and attactive V63 would have gone for a hell of a lot more even a year ago. Man, plain old mapleglo V63s would have gone for $3K
