Interesting in those two photos of Paul and the sanding stages, the pickup switch is up in one and down in the other. Never in the middle.

I would pay more attention to the switch in the live performance picture than the posed picture on Cavendish.

I thought I read somewhere that RIC offered to seal Paul's bass, but he declined.

Maybe my mammories are failing!

they offered to re-laquer it but settled on a sealer only after clean up from info i've read on this forum.
