Well, let me just give you the advice, that whenever I take a quick decision it never turns our right.jingle_jangle wrote:If he'd have picked the color, it would have been finished ...err...a long time ago...Wildberry wrote:Oh, your customer lets you pick the colour? Yes but slide the controls down a bit until the volume control is in line with the bridge, please.Wildberry wrote:Not sure if I understood correctly, but you mean something like this, Jeffrey?jps wrote:place the two controls parallel to the sound hole between the sound hole and bridge

Re: Two soundholes?
Ronald, they are indeed hollow on the control-side... semi-hollow means they have a center block for better sustain and to counter feedback.BAD RONBO, KiLLeR DWaRfS wrote:being a stupid person... are those 360's hollow on the control side ? i always assumed only the soundhole side was hollow.

Re: Two soundholes?
Anyway, I still wanted to make a version with a smaller, elevated scratchplate. I kept the general shape, only made it to about 2/3 of what the current size is. This allows for much better knobs positioning, imo. Maybe I should try to see if I can photoshop a translucent one?

Ha! I trust your color choice, Paul. This should be a real "doozy". Top of the line Rickenbacker with a wild finish. And some other things................jingle_jangle wrote:If he'd have picked the color, it would have been finished ...err...a long time ago...Wildberry wrote:Oh, your customer lets you pick the colour? John, which model is Paul converting anyway? I'm sure she'll appear as nothing short of a beauty!

Build something like a clock counting down to the release of the guitar and then a few days prior to it reaching 0 you simply say you need more R&D time
