I picked up a MXR Analog Chorus pedal Saturday. Very cool, and the stereo mode will be nice when I feel like dragging both of my LDS cabs and two amps to a gig.

Have the ME-20B and have gone back to only Chorus. The Boss just amplified the signal too much. Kept on overloading the head. But, I am hear to attest, when one chooses a 4004 bass as their 'classic rock rig', effects pedals are not really necessay. I have been told and have experience, tone = player's attack + player's internal groove. As TV knows, tone + 4004 = the real deal.
