Too bad about the blurry, however, an underexposed slide may contain enough information to produce a decent print. It is overexposed slides that lose information in the highlights that can not be recovered.

Roger Glover's Rick 4001. With FW inlays and CB binding, 2 jazz-pickups (reverse poled, wired as a humbucker), and a Gibson minibucker underneath the bridgecover.

That bass looks much different today. He stills brings it out every once in a while. There are threads on here about the restoration of this bass

Here is a 4001V63PMC that I purchased right here in AmericaJakeK wrote:Paul McCartney (although he never had his actual signature anywhere on the bass) had a signature model, the 4001C64. The flipped head was a trademark of his left-handed 4001S bass, and so Ric decided to offer right handers a taste of what Paul had. There was also a small run of left hand 4001V63's to Japan (they get everything!) with right-handed necks called 4001PMC, again, it did not bear McCartney's signature.
What I'm trying to say is, Paul had a signature model, too, but the 4001PMC, 4001C64 and 4001C64S beared his signature nowhere.

Apparently the Super early V63's had the magnetic shoes on them.
