I have bought numerous items from Musician's Friend, including two Ricks: a 650D and a jetglo 330. Both arrived in perfect condition the day after I ordered them. I didn't even opt for the one-day shipping. I also live in Central Illinois, and they have a warehouse in Kansas City, so that may explain why it didn't take long for them to arrive. Both of them arrived perfectly set up, by the way so the only thing you might want to do is change the strings, especially if it has been sitting in the warehouse for awhile. I have never had a problem with them whatsoever and I actually prefer their selection and service to that of a lot of music stores around here.

In their ad with Satch, he said they delivered to him on the same day he ordered. Even if he is a celebrity guitarist, it's strange that they would get him gear from Kansas to Cali (Or wherever!) in one day. If that's true, I bet Satch thinks that's the same with everyone else.
As I said before, I was a little disheartened that I paid extra for one day shipping, and they didn't bother to actually send it until later in the week. Their excuse was "Hey man, yeah. You may not wanna order right after a holiday (July 4) again." Yes, because so many companies don't continue like normal after having a day off.

Is this a legit company
I have spent much more money than I care to admit with M/Friend.
They are a very legit company and I have always had great experience with them.
Side note - they are the same company as Music123, Guitar Center and a couple of others. (Though GC is no longer an authorized RIC dealer and has not been for a long time:)

Michael - if you're looking for a 620 model, you might want to check with our Forum member Skip, who just posted his for sale. It's practically brand new.

MF is having another 15% off sale (Columbus Day Sale).Great time to snag another deal.
If you looking for another
Ricky...I'm sure a
Pick of the Ricks price would beat them ..w/super set up & top service.

That was my exact experience with POTR. I just wish we had someone local with the experience and expertise of Chris Clayton. My 360/12 is in dire need of another setup!
