Using a Rick-o-sound setup. Neck pickup goes to top compressor. Bridge pickup goes through everything else.
Erik--how do you like the diamond compressor (I guess pretty well since you have two)? I've been considering getting one. Does it have that attack-killing sound of a dynacomp or does it let the initial transient through? How's the tilt EQ?

I told you JB's pedal board is larger than mine. JB's may even edge out the Edge's. JB's even has a tube television! . . . Or is that a computer monitor?!

Maybe a projector for lyrics? I know I need one when I do Bob Dylan songs.

That was an old TV. We had a camera on the crowd and the video was showing on the TV live. This band was 100% improvisation and crowd participation was key!

Dig the NES Advantage joystick...it had a Big Muff inside, and playing with the joystick and pressing the buttons made it go apesh!t. That was a wild pedal. :D

The Diamond bass compressor is great. Doesn't kill attack at all. The tilt eq is ok. I have the neck pickup on the 200 hZ switch and the bridge pickup on the 900 hZ switch. I use them sparingly to fine tune my Transonic cabinet to the stage I'm playing on.

Not sure if a modelling pedal would capture the tone. I use an Electro Harmonix Holy Grail plus, which is OK as long as don't run too much delay at the same time.

If I had the cash for a good spring reverb I'd go for a VanAmps Sole-mate reverb. They look to be pretty versatile.

Here are some demos: http://vanamps.com/demos/

Power panel.

Made this myself. 24"x18". All power supplies are tucked under the top deck. Power panel accepts standard IEC cord and has an auxiliary outlet for more pedals or whatever (fused at 10A). Main power in is a 60hz filtered inlet connector. Snake side has regular jacks for the pre-amp outs from my Phaez amp head (each channel has it's own loop out) and 1 return to the power section of the head. Neutrik jack is to connect to the front input (instrument) on the head. I painted it with Duratex and then attached the pedals. Line6 G50 Relay wireless feeds the lower deck ->Road Rage AB (selects wireless or regular cable)->Peterson Tuner->Volume pedal->Wah->Diamond compressor->MI Audio Crunch Box->Send to instrument in on amp. Preamp loop-ins feed Road Rage AB (lower one) for channel selection->Line 6 M5 (mods)->Timebender Delay->FRV-1 '63 Reverb-> down to the MI Audio Boost'n'Buff-> return to amp head.

How are you liking your Tim pedal Richard? I'm really digging my Timmy.

Thanks Mike. I have since removed the Peterson and put it back on my set up bench (the M5 has a nice tuner for stage) and added a Blackstone Appliance MOSFET Overdrive (BAMO??) This is THE best overdrive pedal I have ever played through. Uses multiple gain stage MOSFETs to accentuate and overlay multiple harmonic frequencies to create the square-ish wave for overdrive and distortion instead of using diodes to clip the signal, acting much the way an amp does. It is not as bright as a TubesSreamer or the Crunch Box, but instead has a richness about it that nothing I have tried to date can get. Not metal zone stuff, but fat, fantastic overdrive that can sustain into the minutes zone. Sings rather than screams. Same footprint as the MI-Audio pedals and has 2 channels of OD. Great pedal. Works very, very nicely with Hi-gains.

Blackstone Appliance MOSFET Overdrive
I read a great review on it in VG a while back. 8) Made me think about getting one, have you tried it with bass?

I love that NES advantage, JB!

I'm down to just my '82 Boss CE-2. Magic sound with an '83 330. :)
