Seriously, though, Gibb's the first one who springs to mind for me.

Well, it would appear that there is the possibility of a dealer being able to order a number of instruments in custom colors. So, perhaps if a bunch of us got together and put in orders for something a bit special, when enough were ordered, it just might happen...johnhall wrote:The backlog is still about 18 months overall, with bread and butter items in the 9 month range; very little change really, although there's many more export orders inhouse than before.jdogric12 wrote:Did I hear the door of the custom shop opening for business?Bye bye backlog!
A few color changes like this doesn't slow us down and beside, we need a little break in routine sometimes.
and it just might notcjj wrote: it just might happen...
Well, as it happens there's another order in house for 75 instruments covering 3 models in a special color. In the past our production system would be clobbered up making guitars with any type of special appointments, but at least as far as colors are concerned, our scheduling process and systems are now more flexible.cjj wrote:Well, it would appear that there is the possibility of a dealer being able to order a number of instruments in custom colors.

John, does that mean that this version of "Sea Green" is not the same as the 2000 COY? From the pictures on POTR's site, it appears to be a lighter shade. If that's the case is the new colour officially being referred to as "Sea Green" or does it have a different name?johnhall wrote:Well, as it happens there's another order in house for 75 instruments covering 3 models in a special color. I do need to point out that all of these colors are unique. They are NOT replicas of any previous colors and are not intended to be.
