Nice indeed, but a little surprised you don't have any of the "lesser" models...2030, 3001 etc.

Well, I did have a beautiful Fireglo 2060 for a couple of years, but sold it off to a Forumite:

That Sea Green brings out the 'envy' in me. Maybe we could work a trade

I think Paul is saying in a funny way he wants to keep it.

Put me down for the 1993 Cheyenne. I'm in Milwaukee, Paul, so you wouldn't have to ship!

Sorry, but that Cheyenne will be one of the last ones to go when I downsize. That doesn't mean you can't visit it sometime, though. We'll have to get together.

Thanks, Paul. That would be nice. Although you may need to have a doctor on hand in case I go into a Ric bass coma.

Are you done downsizing, yet?

Well, not really started. No need to right now. After the book is out I'll get more serious about turning them over to others who will appreciate them.

When and if...that 1972 4001 Berryburst ("Mink") - I'd like a shot at that one.

Nope. That's my first, bought used in 1975. It was a Mapleglo with a dead off-brand pickup stuck inside the bridge-pickup cavity. I tried to "refinish" it myself and botched it up, but eventually had Ted Staberow and Paul Wilczynski fix it up in 2006. That one is going to the grave with me (figuratively).

I am guessing that it is the one you are holding in the avatar image? It would be the same case with my jetglo 4001S.

Thanks for those images. I remember an older one you took where they were lined up in a V formation or similar.

Couldn't hurt to ask!
