I guess all other necks seems slim compared to a Steinberger L2!

I really like the kind of narrower P-bass feel of this particular 4003 (as far as the profile is concerned).

You are right about stability. This is the first Rickenbacker that I receive after a long trip to Australia that did not require a truss rod adjustment.
