That's Ruby Eddie. Nice though, it's been around the eBay loop a couple of times with no BIN takers.

Oi! How did I miss to spot that one! Thanks, Eddie... I'll follow that one closely - who knows, maybe a final sniper kill the last second!k43rover wrote:..you should treat yourself to this one...and you most likely won't need to pay the crazy sort of price charged by CME..

yeah, but he's changed tack now and started a regular auction with low opening price....if you can put up without full width inlays and 21 frets (not my cup o' tea but each to their own), it could clearly end up at a bargain price for an OS..

godber wrote:Not for me either Eddie. I'm happy with 21 or 24 frets, but I aleady have an x-braced 1981 Ruby 370WB CB which is a real sweety.
That's a nice feature....was that a factory special order from new...or retrofit?godber wrote:CB? Sure is!
..that's cool...now that the backlog is way down, the factory should have plenty of time to again process special orders/options like this. Bringing back the OS as a special order should be top of that list!godber wrote:Factory special order Eddie. The optional extras were pretty cool back then. It's actually a really nice guitar to play, with a good weight, slim neck and plays as easy as a six string.
