No, they were all built around the same time, in the lates-80's/early-90's.

And no, Browne doesn't currently use Rickenbackers in his live performances, though one of his guitarists uses a Rick 12-string. And the JBLEs never proceeded beyond the prototype stage.

You know one day I would like to do an inventory of all the RICS in the museum. I must have 200 pictures of the museum now (plus a few vids on Youtube)... It would be cool to sit with photoshop and crop it down to pictures of each individual instrument. Trouble is that RIC keeps moving them around in the place - they are on one wall in one pic and then are moved somewhere else in later pics. Some guitars must go into storage to make room for others.
Some of the instruments in the museum are photographed in the Tony Bacon book.

The one that interests me is the 80s WHITE WT 620 five from the left bottom row.

I meant the one immediately to the left of the JBLE prototype, rather than to the left of the mandolin.

You can see full shots of those on the Getty photo site. I found a full frontal shot of the torquoise JBLE seen in the Bacon book.
