Hey Paul,

I thought you'd like to know that there is a short review of your book in the October edition of The Guitarist magazine here in the UK. They describe it as a 'stunning presentation'. It's good to see it getting some exposure over here, and in a guitar magazine too! I'm really pleased for you. 8)

Wow! Thanks, Antony. I'll notify the publisher! Might there be an on-line review by them?

Possibly this....

"The ultimate Rickenbacker-book, made by Paul Boyer, tells you everything you want to know about the Rickenbacker.Historian and Rickenbacker fanatic Paul Boyer spent several years of his life to this instrument: he wanted to know everything about every Rickenbacker bass. After researching many basses, reading hundreds of topics on forums, interviews with experts and collectors, and many years of research, his book is finally available. It's called The Rickenbacker Electric Bass - 50 Years As Rock's Bottom and we can call it the ultimate feel-Rickenbacker bass books. It is now available, including through the link below and the book also has two Dutch BuyNow.Rickenbacker connoisseur and collector Bert Heitling showed some of his bass photographing for the book and "our" Chris Dekker is pictured with his '73 4001. The book is available at Bol.com among others. "

Possibly.

It is written by me. It isn't really a review but more a short news item about the book I put online and in our magazine. It was written before seeing the actual book:)

Paul - Great book. I wish all the guitar books I have were done in this style. Any plans to do another? May be Rick guitars or some other maker? FYI - I haven't seen any books on Heritage Guitars yet.
