Skite!

In all seriousness, extremely cool collection. I'm loving the "F"s in particular.

I own RIC 9 guitars or basses and two RIC amps - they are all in the register. (So I am one of 4).

When I first joined this forum i only had two!

I also own 4 Ovations, an Epiphone, a Larivee, a National a Hofner 500/1 and a vintage Framus archtop...

I am willing to bet John Hall is the guy who owns 500 Rickenbackers... :P :P :P

You sold a truly heavy metal instrument and bought a Rick with the money?
The 610 takes up substantially less room than the vibraphone, and is much lighter on a strap! :)

I just bought my first Rickenbacker, a mint 2009 360/12C63, but I can see at least two more in my future (381V69 and a Susanna Hoffs Limited Edition 6 string)

I also own a few more guitars as well:

- Fender 52 AVRI Telecaster
- Epiphone Dot (very rare blueburst color)
- Squire FSR CV Stratocaster (surf green)
- Fender T-Bucket accoustic bass
- Yamaha 6 string accoustic

I'm pretty sure that drugs are a cheaper addiction to have than guitars!!

It's not just the guitars either - there's all the peripheral stuff that you need, for example: straps.

Now Ethos straps may not necessarily be the cheapest around, but they're verrrrrry nice! And extremely comfortable when compared with the authentic but rather utilitarian Rick strap. And (of course) I need one for each Rick... :)

Then there's picks... 8)

I currently own two: a 1991 330/12 and a 2012 360/12c63. Each one fills a separate niche.

I also own a Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature model Stratocaster, a Guild X-170 archtop, a PRS SE Tremonti, an Ovation Pinnacle, and an Alvarez acoustic 12-string.

Out of curiosity, do the guitars sound different from one another?

One has a centre block and the other is X-braced, so yeah.

Yes, the two sound totally different. My 330/12, run through a JangleBox JB2 and into my solid state Fender Princeton Chorus amp, really approaches those early Roger McGuinn tones. But the C63 (even with the bridge cap removed) sounded much too harsh when played through the same rig. (I originally thought this might have something to do with the lower impedance of the neck pickup, that is until I had the same experience with just the bridge pickup selected.) I currently prefer the sound of the C63 plugged directly into the Top Boost channel of my AC15C1. As you would expect, it really delivers those George Harrison ("A Hard Day's Night") sounds.
