As requested, heres a few pics (now ive remembered how to upload things again and that they needed resizing!)
TC amp is my indoor amp... and also my gig amp when I cannot be bothered to shift my SVT stack around.

Could just be my eyes, but the fretboard binding looks to be a different shade of white than the body binding. I bet it's been replaced. But it's a nice looking instrument!

You are right sir - there is a slight change in the binding colour from the side to the edge. The older binding on the top edge is yellowed a lot more, indicating its age (I think)

Yep picture #2 shows some curious marks below the actual fingerboard.
So I would say no doubt binding replacement.
Wow that looks in immaculate shape, congrats.
