You can click on the link above or I'll take some photos when I see how she looks next to my v63.

Next up is a project 4000 or 4001.

Would you PLEASE do me a favor and let him know that it is a "BASS"? I looked at the web page, nice pictures, but I can't believe a bassist doesn't know how to spell the word! I'd like to see more of the inlay when you get it, it looks a little different than most of the full-width inlays. But beautiful nonetheless.

The inlays look the same as Mark,s B/G. A mix of the sparkle and the blocK inlays that were coming... The MOP was just about done by this period of time, and it seems they were mixing it with the new stuff in order to make it go as far as possible... My F/G FL is April 73 also...

Who knows? Between all the board members, maybe we own the entire production run for 4/73.

Remember that 73 was the transition year, usually instruments after June had the modern inlays, but from what we've seen over the years is that 73's were wild cards, anything goes.

MD1284 was on e bay and unsold for $1550 opening bid last Oct. It had all the cool features and some buckle rash...Nobody felt like it was worth it...Might be different now...

Good for you Marc. That's a beautiful instrument.

I'm looking for that project 4000/4001s myself.
