I am going to put a black guard on that black one also. Tell ya, the blue bass is REALLY live! I put it against my 79 JG and it took my breath away...The 79 may have to be retired. I mean, the MB has the TONE and the new trussrod system?!? I'm sold...I am really diggin' the chrome trim. I got the idea from an old Ruby red 81 that I had. Picture the MB in Ruby Red and that's how it was set up. I miss that bass....too bad it got ripped off years ago!!!`

As much as an all black bass looks cool, it gets lost visually on stage; the chrome really does help add depth to the instrument.

I agree with you Jps, especially if you are wearing black clothing.

Thats why I had the "star" job done on my Hamer 12. I looked at pictures of myself playing it and you couldn't even SEE the darn thing!

Black and chrome has always been a good look to me. That is why the midnight blue works out so well with the chrome. I am going to play the schnikes out of that bass.

For sure I'd play a pub band with no problems, I saw a lot of great blues folks earlier in the year at the Kingston Blues Festival ... so is a matter of finding the right contacts here. I've a v63 that's itching to get some real playing time in !!!
