Chris, an interesting question.

What I did was purchase a beat up 73 and sell off the vintage parts. Bartered for some of the work done. Haven't figured it out to the penny but, less than $1000.Probably around $700-800.

Marc, what is the finish color? In the photos it looks darker than BlueBoy, but paler than Sea Green. I would imagine it is a custom color?

Looks great, and has got me thinking again about refurbishing my '72.

Thanks all for the compliments.

Paul, the finish is sea foam green. It may look lighter in the photos due to the flash. I comapred it in the shop to a couple of sea green strats that were there and it was pretty accurate

That seagreen makes it just a great looking bass...OT a little, has anyone here had a bridge/pu surround re-chromed...and if it,s not too intrusive how much???

There is a plating shop around the corner from my business that could do it for a reasonable price I think.
