Sergio: He just adjusted the spacing. Thanks for confirming my suspicion. He had recently complained about an uneven response from the A to the E string.

Is this an early Cheyenne II? I dont think I've seen many quilt tops,especially with walnut wings, extremely figured, very beautiful, hats off to the owner.

Today, RIC calls it charactered maple. This stuff is definately an order of magnitude beyond "charactered".

I love Ricks as much as the next guy here but the idea of the C64 headstock escapes me. It is almost but not quite as bad as that artificial aging thing Fender does. Sure, I'll probably end up buying one someday........
