I like the white outlined pickguard. Cool looking, and I have never seen another one like it.

4002's have laminated black (actually b/w/b/w/b) pickguards, so it's not totally un-Ric. The 4002 prototype (p.211 Smith book) has a laminated 4003-type pickguard that looks very nice.
