I went by the studio to confirm our date, and it looks like they have enough chairs for us and a couple of tables, too. So that's not a big worry after all, but we still need lights and posters. Patio lights, stage lights, any decorative lighting ideas are still much needed.
Getting excited now - only ten days away!

It all sounds like so much fun. Have a great time guys and girls, I wish I could be there to jam with you all. One day in the future perhaps.

A disco ball would be awesome!
Seriously, we need some help with lighting. If you're coming, please see if you have any decorative lighting you can bring. Also, I know that you guys collect RIC posters and banners, so please bring them along. And if you can bring any of these items, kindly let me know.
UPDATE: North of Malibu will be starting their set a little earlier due to a recording commitment. They will begin their set around 12:30 and play for most of an hour. So don't be late! Bobbleheads will still be starting around 2:30.

I understand that people are planning to travel light to this thing, but I want to encourage everyone to bring their best ricks, and as many as they can manage. We have one room dedicated to chatting and ogling - there will be racks and stands and room for plenty of axes.
Also, amps are a concern for me right now. I hope there will be enough decent amps. The bands will be using their own but might be packing up after their sets, I have the impression. So what we're going to use for the jam is up to you guys. There will be a couple of small amps for the display room; I have my Pathfinder which is a great sounding little box, but I'm not sure what we'll use for jamming. Both PW and I have Behringer bass amps (which are surprisingly decent) but a couple of Vox or Fender tube amps for guitar would be very welcome.
There will be a drum kit and a couple of volunteers to man it, so I think we'll be OK on that account.
I still need to bang a gong for lighting, however ...

'Strobe light beams creates dreams, walls move minds do too'....

sorry, wrong life-time
What kind of lights do you need Kira ? Colored, flashing, small, LED,

Maybe I can go rip the ones off the artificial Christmas tree we don't use anymore.
Also, I'll be bringing my small '62 Fender Vibroverb re-issue, 35 tube watts combo into two ten inch Oxfords. Anyone is welcome to plug in and use it. It doesn't have an effects loop, but a jack for external speakers

( so bring some 9 volt batteries )

The Vibroverb is a cool 2 12" amp..should work for most everything except the heavy metal set

I can bring the AC-15 Heritage and a SuperChamp.
The Heritage is pretty loud, I've never jammed with the SuperChamp.
Kira,
Do they have enoough power outlets for pedalboards, too?

Steve, I think we can count on there being sufficient outlets. If not, I've got a couple of power strips. Yeah, I'm planning on bringing my pedal board (with brand new janglebox 2).
Gary, virtually any lighting solutions you can come up with will be wonderful. The rooms are dimly lit. Any kind of colored lights, spotlights, garden lights might be an improvement.
