Glenn,

For the most part don't worry about the sign up sheet as far as being limiting, we can always add another player if there is something you want to play on.

We really just use that as a guide to keep things running smoothly and so people know what songs we are probably going to play so that they can be ready if there is a song they really like.

You can add songs too if you want.

I'm signed up for 7 or 8 songs, but personally I enjoy the guitar displays and hanging out with other forumites the most :)

I just signed up for "Eight Miles High." I hope a certain Byrds Collective musician, whose initials are Pat Hayes, will join in on that one. (hint, hint)

Jim, just try and stop me... :D I signed up to play a few of the Byrds and Beatles songs with you. I didn't realize that I hadn't signed up for Eight Miles High (now corrected).

Good luck on your escape from Brownbackistan. Have a good vacation.

Ditto here; if there's any song you want to play on that I signed up for, scratch my name and replace it with yours. I only signed up where asked or needed for the most part.

Exactly my point a few posts back, happy to play if you need me, happy to not! :D

Same here, I usually wind up with more bass playing duty than I really want. I love the socializing and admiring the Ricks part of these events too! If there are certain songs that anyone really would love to play bass on, but my name is there, please feel free to take it. Just leave me a few though!
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Another Eight Miles High super-session SCARF jam rendition in the works ? ? I think we had five or six Ric 12-stringers (including a Light Show) participating at that May 2010 Mini Con jam version of EMH, plus Pat's 4001c63 and a Ric six-stringer or two. The more the merrier !

IIRC, it was six, 12-string Ricks, so that version should really be called "16 Miles High."

Rich, how about we try for a Guinness record (Mcguinness) ? I don't think anyone's attempted that. There should be more than enough people there to set one!

Video courtesy of Melibee. Collin W started off the song with some Clapton-like leads.

Ditto. I believe it was Rich who once said "Ross earns our long-distance [SCARF] award for coming the farthest"
