I still hope to attend, though I can't get there until around 3 or so. I can bring one small lamp (more for mood than anything else), hopefully can dig up an old Japanese Ric catalog/poster, and can also bring a bass amp - either my PJB suitcase, or my Glockenklang Soul Head & Epiphani 2X10 which is more powerful. I thought I might also bring my Alembic SF-2 Superfilter and some effects. Oh, and of course the one Ric I have here in California, my Autumnglo 4001...

That sounds great, Harry! We'll carry on till 8 PM so there should be plenty of time for you to have fun. :)

You might miss the bands, though, and certainly the brunch beforehand. :(

Thanks Kira, I really wish I could go for the whole day, but work intruded...

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I can play drums a little bit! (And I do mean little...)

kiramdear wrote: Also, amps are a concern for me right now. I hope there will be enough decent amps.

I have invited my friend Joe, who lives in SF to attend and he is bringing a vintage Fender tube Deluxe to the festivities. I have also brought two Rics (my 360-12 and the 370 WB) and I packed a Fender Deluxe 90 which is a solid state amp (but fit better in the car than my Vox amps and space was a premium).

We arrived in Novato and are staying with family all week.

So add my friend Joe B. to the attendees list. He is a "regular" jammer 8) every week over at Skips Tavern in San Francisco.

Great! Thanks, everybody! Looks like we'll be OK for amps after all. :)

Now the only thing is the lighting. I guess if it gets too gloomy we can go visit the pretty little canal which is right nearby. Should be a fine day, weather-wise! :)

Lack of lighting would not be a problem for me if I was coming. I can play in the dark..............it's something I had to learn as a result of playing dark and dingy venues in the 60's.

I can just imagine the retorts that people would like to post but our rules prohibit.

Have a great time everyone.

I was thinking of lights more for the mood, to make it more energetic and inviting. Won't affect my playing much, either, unfortunately.

Say, I think we need a Brian mask to hold a place for our fearless leader. What say you all?

Brian, I was really hoping you could make it. It's going to be a day to remember. :)

Concerning the BARC Brunch at Paul's house: Paul and his family would like to have all the requests in today so that they can plan the brunch. Please get in touch with Paul by PM if you haven't already done so and wish to attend. :)

I still think we should go for the bulk pack of glo-sticks and drop one inside the sound hole of every 300 series guitar in attendance. I've always wanted to try that.

Joey, Diane, and I will be leaving So-Cal about noon on Friday.

Ha ha! Glo sticks aren't a bad idea, actually. You can get red, yellow, and green ones. Bent paperclips should suffice to temporarily hang them on the carpet-covered walls.

Mr. Gregorio--if I shoot you a pdf of lyric/chord sheets for the stuff I've gathered will you have time to send me what you've got? I still have a couple of evenings to woodshed! Have a safe drive up and don't let Ponch & Jon ruin your day!

Now there's an idea Paul! A 300 Light Show! I was hoping to make it to this weekends festivities, but my relocation to Auburn, Ca. won't be until next month. Ah, timing is everything :(

Like Harry, I've been called into work on Saturday, because that's just my luck. I'll get over there as soon as I can though with the 8 string, CS and LK.
