Ditto. I believe it was Rich who once said "Ross earns our long-distance [SCARF] award for coming the farthest"
Erm......... not this time, Jake. I think Trotty and I will be co-leaders after this one.....

All those miles attending Confluences worldwide and the airlines will still never give you an upgrade !!!

Another Eight Miles High super-session SCARF jam rendition in the works ? ? I think we had five or six Ric 12-stringers (including a Light Show) participating at that May 2010 Mini Con jam version of EMH, plus Pat's 4001c63 and a Ric six-stringer or two. The more the merrier !
Rich, how about we try for a Guinness record (Mcguinness) ? I don't think anyone's attempted that. There should be more than enough people there to set one!

IIRC, it was six, 12-string Ricks, so that version should really be called "16 Miles High."

Sounds cool ... we'll plug in as many Rics as we can until the Los Alamitos Fire Marshall cites us for being a fire-hazard with all those over-heated amps and compressor pedals jangleizing the place !

So far the Guiness record book looks "open" when I ran a search under "Amazing Feats" for the category of "Most Rickenbacker 12-strings"

I'm excited. Remember: PM if we are having a Sunday party. My mom's going to our relative's workplace, a French Revolution-type museum and I would rather NOT be there.

Your choices are a French Revolution museum with the relatives or SCARFing up some French toast with the gang

Yeah, and you don't want to be around a French revolution museum; the exhibits might be so exciting that people could lose their heads.

Go for the mega-French Toast- the recipe of the place we have in mind is amazing-it's practically a funnel cake on a plate.

So far, I've got a total known head count of 53 SCARF attendees, with at least another (being conservative) 10 to 15 or more maybes.

I'm afraid something's come up and I won't be able to attend. It sure looks like it's shaping up to be a good time, hope you all have a blast!

I'll take my name off the sign up sheet to leave room for others. Hopefully there will be a mini-jam in the not-to-distant future that I can go to.

Thanks to everyone who make SCARF happen!
