Do other Rics with black binding still have the white binding along the neck?

Hmmmmmmm....good question! I havent owned a BT so I don't know for sure...looking at a pic in a previous thread of a white BT they did have white binding on the fretboard. (Ilan posted it, August 20)

yeah, it sounds great and different than my 4003 which is why I got it. I'm not a collector, just a musician. I like the feel of this one and its sound - brighter than my my 4003.

Possibly a refin? My mapleglo was originally white. Look for paint evidence in the control/pickup/TRC cavity.

Tim, BT is Black Trim. See that pic above...I think that is how yours originally looked.

My white '80 4001 has black trim on the body and white on the neck, I've seen others on e-bay that are similar. I wonder why it isn't all black...

actually the bass I have in that picture is the goth bass before it got gothed ... before I put the black trim on it ...

I think I prefer the black and white and chrome ... so I will probably put the goth bass on ebay sometime ...

straploks ... don't leave home without them ...

I like the middle bass here ...
