Come on down everybody!
The hospitality shown over here has been fantastic. All this from a guitar forum?? Who would have thought........
Us Aussie members have a job ahead of us but I have no doubt that we can reciprocate in a big way!
Now......... off to catch up with Melibee, Marc and the boys..... cee-gars at the ready!!

Hi guys and gals, I got Howard off to Melissa and Marc's this morning. Aitch was the perfect house guest. I picked him up from the airport Monday afternoon and took him down to the photo lab for a bit and then when we got home, he cut the grass. In the evening Shari and I took Howard to pig out on sushi with another friend of mine. On Tuesday I was going to take him to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame but instead, Aitch wanted to paint the bathroom ceiling and walls, so...
That evening we visited with my partner and his wife at their home out in the woods, where Howard insisted on cutting their grass and also clearing out some downed trees that was in the river cutting through the property. Once he was done with that, we had dinner and then Howard did the dishes. Very nice of him to do that.
On Wednesday I gave him a break and let him hang out at the Great Lakes Brewery where he paid off his hefty drinking bill by doing the dishes there.
Wednesday evening we went to Zimbabwe to check out the local music scene; great band!!!
Thanks Aitch, Shari and I greatly enjoyed having you visit!

That's good news Howard, all these additional home maintenance skills are going to come in real handy if your son's mates have trashed your home here in OZ LOL.
In fact if the recommendations keep coming on your handy work in this area, I've got some work for you and you can tell me of your great adventure at the same time! This way you'd kill two birds with the one stone! LOL

Hey, Aitch, how'd the pics from the falls come out?
Yeah, I never mentioned it.. sorry, I'm lazy. Oh, btw, my gramma's still complaining about walking that day.

Wow, all that work...I feel guilty. All Aitch has to do when he gets here is to sit through two Carnivore gigs & drink loads of beer!

Edit: This post is actually by Aitch!
You are very kind, Jeff! You forgot to mention, however, that I also serviced your car and replaced the stairs down to the basement! Thank you very much for having me, Jeff. I really enjoyed it immensely..... in spite of what people say about Cleveland.
The pics came out fine, Nate. I should have the opportunity to do some serious posting here at Melissa's - of both the 75th and some highlights of the trip thus far. Give my regards to your grandma....... she is a terrific lady and I am extremely grateful for the hospitality shown by you both.
Ron: As long as it's emptying bottles or something simple like that I can manage it. All these US slave drivers are wearing me out..........
It's a dirty, dirty job, Tony...... but I'm sure I'll scrape through it somehow!

Hidden talents eh Aitch? I suppose that we spent too much time working on and playing with toys for me to discover that you could do lawns, carpentry and mechanics work etc.
I'll give you my job jar next time and you can fill yer boots. LOL

Good to hear, Jason! Nothing like a bit of cultural exchange, I reckon.............
Well, Brian - we did do a bit of carpentry together, did we not?
And I also took your Sea-Doo underwater for leak testing!
Seeing as how it sank overnight, I guess I did a pretty ****** job on the latter.....

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this, Howard. Stacy says hi, she had a real good time with you at that, um, party, and can't wait to do it again with you. She said you were pretty good for an older guy.
